Sambro's Packaging Approach

Sambro is committed to reducing, reusing and recycling all the packaging from our products where possible. The below guide shows you how best to recycle your packaging, but why not think first about if you could reuse it?

Could the cardboard box be used to store toys? Could the plastic be used in a craft project or activity? If not then please dispose of it responsibly and help it be recycled into new products or packaging!

Remember to separate all the packaging materials so they don’t contaminate each other.

Cardboard

Cardboard

All the cardboard used in our packaging is 100% recyclable and can be disposed of in your household paper recycling bin.

Hard Plastics

Hard Plastics

The trays, molded shells and other hard plastic elements of our packaging can be recycled, but only in the correct recycling streams. Please check if your local authority or recycling plant accepts hard plastics, as not all do.

Soft Plastics

Soft Plastics

The plastic bags and wrapping in our packaging can normally be recycled along with carrier bags at your local supermarket – please check whether they offer this service.

Foil Bags

Foil Bags

The foil bags we use are not currently recyclable as they are made of laminated plastic and metal. Please dispose of them in your normal household rubbish. We are working on replacing our foil bags with a more sustainable solution!
Two batteries

Batteries

Batteries

The Wheelie bin symbol affixed to the product or its packaging indicates that the product and the batteries must not be disposed of with other household waste as they may contain elements which can have a harmful effect on the environment and human health. Please use the designated electronic waste collection point or recycling facilities when disposing of the item and the batteries. Please check the collection methods in your municipality/ local authority.
