Privacy Note

It is extremely important for us to explain clearly to you, and for you to understand, exactly what personal information (essentially, your “data”) we collect on our website (“the Site”) in association with the Sambro Unboxer Account (“the Account”) that you create on behalf of your child, as well as why we collect that information, and what we then do with it.

This Privacy Note together with the Sambro Privacy Policy explain our privacy practices which govern the Site and the Account. Please ensure that you are familiar with the Sambro Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

The Sambro Privacy Policy sets out our information collection practices. For example, we collect:

Information you and your child give us: for example, when you create the Account for your child, we’ll ask for personal information about them, like their first and last name, their birth- date, and a contact address and email address for you.

Information we get from your use of our services: we automatically collect and store certain information about the services you use and how you use them, such as when you register your child for the Sambro “Unboxer” promotion, or click on a link for one of our partner retailers. This information includes:

Device-specific information, such as the hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers;

Server log information, including details of how you and your child use our services and explore the Site; device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and the referral URL, the associated internet protocol (IP) address, and cookies that may uniquely identify your browser; and

Cookies or similar technologies, which are used by Sambro and our partners to collect and store information about a browser or device, such as preferred language and other settings, when you interact with services we offer.

We do not require you to provide any more personal information than is reasonably necessary to use the services on the Site.

How We Use Information We Collect

Our Privacy Policy describes how we use information applicable to the Account. For example, we may use your information to: (i) select families under our Unboxer promotion; (ii) communicate

information to you; (iii) provide, maintain, develop, and improve our content and services; (iv) authenticate or identify you as a user of our services; and (v) to protect both Sambro and users of the Site.

We may also use such personal information for internal purposes, such as data analysis and market research.

Information you and (subject to your consent) your child can share

You and your child may share information, including videos and location, with others when you sign up to the Sambro Unboxer promotion and register the Account.

When you and your child share information publicly, for example under the Sambro Unboxer promotion by allowing Sambro to post your (and, please note, your child’s) videos through our designated Sambro YouTube channel, such information may be indexable by search engines.

Information Sambro may share

Information we collect may be shared outside of Sambro in limited circumstances. We do not share personal information with companies, organisations, and individuals outside of Sambro unless one of the following circumstances applies:

1.With consent

We will share personal information with companies, organisations or individuals outside of Sambro with your express consent.

2.For external processing

We provide personal information within the Sambro group of companies and to our trusted business partners, and process the same, in compliance with this Privacy Note, the Sambro Privacy Policy, and all other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

3.For legal reasons

•meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or government request;

•detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or

•protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Sambro, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.

Sambro may also share non-personal information (such as trends about the use of its services) publicly and with our partners.
